Skysports.com understands Coventry are set to add Leon Best to the impending signings of Arjan de Zeeuw and Ellery Cairo.

Coventry have moved for Best after he turned down a new deal at Southampton.

Best is undergoing a medical at the Ricoh Arena after agreeing a three-year deal at Coventry .

Leicester and Nottingham Forest were credited with an interest in Best, but Iain Dowie has won the race for Best's signature.
