2 new players to Leicester

Leicester have swelled their ranks with the captures of Bruno N'Gotty and Jimmy Nielsen.

Veteran defender N'Gotty has arrived from Birmingham, while Danish keeper Nielsen has made the move from AaB Aalborg.

N'Gotty had the option to stay with Birmingham, having played enough games to trigger a contract extension but he feels that, at 36 come the start of the season, he has more chance of securing regular playing time with The Foxes.

Nielsen has experience of life in England, having had a brief spell with Millwall, and Foxes chief Martin Allen is happy with his new recruits.

"Both have a wealth of experience and I believe they will be major assets for the season ahead," Allen told the club's official website.

"Also, I am delighted that we have recruited Don Mackay to help me with my recruitment of players at the top level.

"He brings experience. At times he will be able to give me guidance and support and I am looking forward to working with him and picking his brains to improve me and help me develop."
