Best away fans?
Who are the best set of away fans that have visited you?
I rekon Brighton as they brought a good 1000 up on a wednsday night and were still singing away at 3-0 down. Cardiff push them close also.

No one so far.
Derby and Bradford only brought 200. Gillingham 350. Pathetic really!

Any fan who makes the effort to travel far and wide is a good fan to me... except all the cockney reds who should support there local team... Utd fans were so silent last year at Maine Road, at least at OT we made an effort!

United fans are not real fans. i don't care if they challenge me. Who here who supports Man utd is a season ticket holder, goes to away games (and not just away games near to wheret they live ie. in London) and can honestly say that they supported Man Ubefore they became successful.

It has to be Sheffield Wednesday, they take loads everywhere. They always make plenty of noise, although the band can be annoying at times. They have a carnival atmosphere, and support their team throughout.
Forest4eva.... What was your opinion of the small group of Preston fans at the City Ground last night? I couldn't make the game as I play 7 a side on Wednesdays.
The first game I've missed this season and we win!
Reports suggest we played well, deserving to win - and also that we didn't suffer without our injured top two strikers Cresswell and Fuller.

Best Fans in England are Either Newcastle Bury or Yeovil.
Newcastle for obvious reasons, Bury because They have the likes of Utd, Bolton,Man City etc around them, and Yeovil becasue for a lower league team they take loads

You must be joking trampstar, Newcastle are rated highly but really shouldn't be, where were alot of them in Divison two? Yeovil are glory hunters!! And Bury... only go because they can't get tickets for OT!
You can't pick a teams fans base... the fan individually can only be pointed out...
Look at attendences at teams which have gone down over the years... and look at the expanding fan bases of teams who are becoming more world wide such as Chelsea. Bolton got an average of about 13k in Divison one and about 25k in the premier league... those 13k could well be counted as 'true' fans.

If we're including all of Britain, then it has to be Rangers. They brought over 7,000 for Stuart McCall's testimonial match and everyone of them sange and danced non-stop. And that was for a friendly!
