Kiraly leaves Eagles
Quote:
Gabor Kiraly has quit his ties with Crystal Palace after Peter Taylor elected against offering his goalkeeper fresh terms.
The Hungarian international has been at Selhurst Park since 2004 but talks to extend his stay at the Championship club never went beyond initial negotiations.
Taylor is confident that he is well stocked in the goalkeeping department and with Julian Speroni and Scott Flinders both having impressed their taskmaster, it was decided Kiraly was surplus to requirements.
"I spoke to Gabor last week, and there are a few different reasons for his release," said Taylor.
"We have two goalkeepers on the books now, and they are under contract next year. With Gabor being out of contract, I decided to let him go.
"Julian is looking good and finished the season well, and I am looking for Scott to come back and really push on."

I doubt he will sign for a new Championship club.
