Arrow Dons swoops for Hornets

MK Dons manager Martin Allen has signed Watford midfielder Dominic Blizzard until the end of the season - with a view to a permanent deal.

The 23-year-old has just completed a seven-game loan spell at League Two promotion rivals Stockport but will now make his Dons debut in the televised clash with Walsall on Sunday.

Blizzard can operate anywhere across the midfield and can also fill in at right-back and will be hoping to guide the Dons to promotion from League Two.

Allen signed Hornets team-mate Albert Jarrett on loan until the end of the season on Wednesday.

MK Dons have signed Watford midfielder Albert Jarrett

The pacy 22-year-old has recently completed a month-long loan spell at League Two rivals Boston, scoring twice in five games, and will be in Martin Allen's squad to face Walsall at the National Hockey Stadium on Sunday.

Jarrett started his career with the Dons when they were still playing under the Wimbledon moniker before moving to Brighton in 2004.
