James Simmonds on loan to Cardiff

Chelsea reserve squad member James Simmonds has joined Cardiff City on loan until the end of the season.



Midfielder Simmonds, who has also played up front on occasions, has made two starts and four sub appearances for Brendan Rodgers reserve team this season.



The 19-year-old is a product of the Chelsea Academy, having made his first reserve appearance when still a schoolboy.



Championship side Cardiff's next game is on Wednesday against Tottenham in the FA Cup.



Simmonds joins Jimmy Smith, Michael Mancienne and Anthony Grant as reserve squad members currently out on loan.

Like I was saying in Chelsea section. Hes not good enough for Prem, or Championship I thought. But good for him.

any Cardiff fans wanna know about him. Hes slow, has good pass. plays mianly on left but can play behind strikers. Hes not gonna be a impact player.
