Promotion chasing Preston will be without striker Patrick Agyemang, who joins Neil Mellor (knee) in the treatment room at Deepdale due to a groin problem.

Callum Davidson (groin and knee) is also unlikely to be fit, with Youl Mawene (knee) and Adam Nowland (broken leg) completing the absent list.

Argyle have been hit by the news that captain Paul Wotton is likely to miss the rest of the season due to knee ligament damage, with Paul Connolly (hamstring), Lee Hodges (knee) and Nick Chadwick (groin) also sidelined.

However Ian Holloway has Hasney Aljofree and David Norris available after completing suspensions.
