Steve Bruce's Blues have won five of their last six Championship outings and can move top of the league with a win at Turf Moor, with their cause further boosted by the return of Matthew Upson who may settle for a place on the bench.

The former Arsenal man has not played since February, and his return is a huge fillip for Bruce who is still missing Damien Johnson due to a broken jaw.

Clarets boss Steve Cotterill must do without experienced defender Frank Sinclair due to suspension, whilst left back Jon Harley is also doubtful due to a foot injury.
