Bees poised for Griffiths swoop - TalkSoccer

Brentford manager Leroy Rosenior has hinted he is keen to secure the signature of Australian trialist Adam Griffiths on a permanent basis.

The 26-year-old centre-back was impressive in the Bees' 3-1 defeat in Saturday's pre-season friendly at non-league Staines.

Rosenior said: "We will speak to Adam. We know his history, he is at a good age, and we will be talking to him over the next few days."

Griffiths was signed by Watford last summer, but failed to force his way into Adrian Boothroyd's plans and joined Bournemouth on a free transfer in January.

Rosenior worked miracles at Torquay up to last season.

Brentford won't go down, but it'll be nowhere near as good as it was for them last season.
