Owls sign Carson on loan
Sheffield Wednesday have signed Liverpool goalkeeper Scott Carson on a month's loan subject to approval from the Premier League.
The 20-year-old moved to Anfield from Leeds in January 2005 for a fee of £750,000 and has made nine appearances for the Reds, including two Champions League outings this season.
However he is behind both Jose Reina and Jerzy Dudek in Rafael Benitez's pecking order and will make his Owls debut against QPR at Hillsborough on Saturday.
Wednesday have also recruited Manchester City defender Mikkel Bischoff for a month.
The Dane has struggled with injuries during his time at Eastlands but he completed 90 minutes in City's reserve's 4-2 win over Wigan on Thursday.
Both moves have been financed entirely by Owls chairman Dave Allen.
