Excellent result, great to see Tyson get a goal on his debut too, he looked very impressive (and it was a goal as far asi'm concerned).
Did very well to limit Southend who are a very good side at this level to no real chances either (bar a very good Gerrard save in injury time when the game was won).
We're getting very hard to beat!

What a performance...I dont think i could pick out one BAD player today, what bout you marc?
Got to be Tysons goal, seen it again and its as good as going in. He gave us something different and had the crowd buzzing. The one in the first half..killed it dead, left his man for dead and went sprinting straight for goal...we havent had that since harewood! Cant bear to think when commons is back, hel pick out his runs all day!
Cracking result, cracking performance and slowly starting to worry a few teams above us now, one minute away from being in the playoffs today...not long now before we get in there hopefully!

We still need to sort out our away form but we certainly have it just about right at home now.
Our tactic of trying to tire out the opposition may be dull as sin to watch but it is effective at this level.

my mate whose a Southend fan who went to the game was telling me the chants which was exchanged
Forest fans started "2-0 to the arsenists" and "we burnt your pier down"
Southend fans chanted somethink about Brian Clough
must be kinda static in the ground with that going on
