Smile Wolves eye new Huddlestone loan

Wolves are confident of extending the loan spell of Tottenham youngster Tom Huddlestone.

The England Under-21 international, 18, who has impressed in his three appearances in midfield for the Molineux outfit, is due to return to White Hart Lane after Tuesday's Championship clash against Sheffield United.

But Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey told the club's official website: "I know Glenn (Hoddle) wants to keep Tom so it's just a case of all of us getting together to try and sort it out.

"There is already a financial package in place to extend the loan which was agreed in principle and it's just a case of making the call to Tottenham to see if they are happy for it to go through.

"If all goes well, I would expect us to look to sort something out before the last game of the loan against Sheffield United."

He is class, hard to believe hes only 18. Has such a presence on the field and the best passer of the ball i have seen in a long time

Hopefully we can extend it but knowing us we'll mess it up

You can see why Spurs bought him.
