Folwer not going to the saints
Saints chairman Rupert Lowe has publically stated that they are not after Manchester City striker Robbie Fowler on loan.
The 30 year-old who has had a frustrating time of late, has been struggling with a back problem since the start of the season and could have seen St Marys as an ideal place to go and get first team action.
He has strong competition at City, with Darius Vassel and Andy Cole on form so a move to the south coast appeared to be on the cards.
However, Lowe has denied all interest in the player stating "There is absolutely no truth in it at all".
"There has been no contact and I have no idea where this has come from."
