Good result in that Reading are a hard team to beat and will be up and around play offs at the end of the season. Think we played well and should of won.

King and Henderson didnt seem on the ball to the day, didnt see as sharp although give that big centre alot of credit he was quality.

Foster 8 - didnt have much to do, great kicking, amazing save and great catches

Doyley 7 played okay, if there was a weak link today it was probably him at the back. Seemed a bit shaky but didnt do anything horribly wrong.

Carlisle 9 - was immense. Won nearly every header, great leader and played by example. Quality defender!

Mackay 8 - dealt with leroy lita easily. Experience won the battle. Should of been rewarded a penalty for that deliberate trip.

Chambers 7 - one good covering in particular on Lita in the first half, still not sure on him being left back with no left foot.

Young - 7/8 - Great crosses from open play, confident on the ball, will beat players, good tricks. however needs to wip his corners in, not ala Ardley lil dink into the box. Will be a key player for us this season, he has got a new belief in him.

Spring - 8 lot and lots of running. couple of very good one twos with the strikers. Very good at passing and spreading the play and gets stuck in very well.

Blizzard 7 - gets forward aswell as doing all the untidy work, in the 2nd half he one one vital intercaption which prevented a goal. Still getting stick for clearing the links lots of booo's/arrrgghh/ grrrr etc. In the 2nd half the midfield pair knew what they were doing more eg who stays back and who goes forward.

McNamee 7/8 - his crosses in the first half were top quality. shame none of the strikers attacked his crosses. Had a few shots on goal. A bit queit in the 2nd half but again another player who has a new lease of confidence under AB same with Young.

Henderson 6 - Didnt really do much i feel, although had a shot in the first half cleared of the line, sometimes miss controlled at times, maybe the occasion was too much for him, trying to hard to get one over on his former club?

King - 6 He held it up well at times, but he didnt seem as sharp today, but to be fair to them both the big Reading centre have Sokho is massive and quick. And sometimes the quality of service wasnt there.

The golden boys can be proud. Espically the back 4. Dont forget we were without Mahon and Devlin two of our outstanding performers recently, but today kinda proved with the signing of Spring and Young and McNamee and good enough replacement, maybe McNamee may have to find more consistency.

uuuuuuuuuu oorrrrnnnssss!!

Good performance, we defended very well and definitely deserved our point

Foster - 7, by far his best performance for us, great save in the second half and seems to be now starting to settle in to the defence.

Doyley - 8, a typically consistent performance from SuperDoyley, the guy is so under rated by our fans it's untrue

Carlisle - 9, man of the match by a street, led by example and very vocal, and seemed to be holding Reading back on his own.

Mackay - 8, had Lita in his pocket in his pocket, dealt with him excellently and showed his experience

Chambers - 6, dodgy, didn't look at all convincing in defence but looked ok going forward.

Young - 7, didn't do badly, showed his pace and always looked to get the crosses in, not as fantastic as he has been in previous games but he has improved so much

Spring - 9, great game for the ex-scummer, full of running and energy, passed well, tackled well and would have scored a cracking 30 yarder had it not been blocked

Blizzard - 7, looks to be improving (although thats not particularly hard), tackled well and passed well on occasions, had a better second half after a disappointing first.

McNamee - 8, good game for Macca, again showed his fantastic ability and produced an unbelievable bit of skill late on, crossed well and even got stuck in

Henderson - 7, played well in the first half and was very unlucky not to score in the first minute and had a shot cleared off the line. Faded a little in the second and was subbed for Bouazza

King - 6, disappointing, maybe should have scored late on, didnt do much to be a honest

how was Doyley better than Chambers...Chambers covered Mackay a few times.....I wish he had a left foot though...

everyone on the official****e love doyley....most peeps on gh realised he wasnt up to his usual standards.

also how was King worse than Henderson...saying that you was on King back on the first game...despite not seeing him in pre season...Kings linkup and control was still very good...altho on one oppunitiny it cost him from macca cross.

Sokho was immense.

anyways cant wait for derby game.

Chambers wasn't very good, he looked dodgy, right footed left back's usually do

Henderson did no worse than King, just because I'm not up King's arse like you doesnt mean I dont think he's a good player
