Leeds United have denied reports that a deal has been agreed for midfielder Matthew Spring to join Watford.

Reports suggested a £200,000 fee had been agreed with the Hornets, now managed by former Leeds first team coach Adrian Boothroyd, but Elland Road chiefs have revealed that there has been no bid for the 25-year-old.

it was started as a lil rumour of 3counties...few comments on official...

then i put it on here, newsnows then its the talk of the official and gets brought up bwl..

then it goes into the papers....i dont see the matty spring rumour or any other site....so the papers would of got from off this site more than likely and made up the rest... it is possible..

on 3 counties on friday wasnt talked about atall....then now its the talk of the town as they say LOL.

about a year ago i subtly included in one story that owen hargreaves had been linked with charlton, which was completely made up, but alan curbishley came out and said he wasnt interested

i love it...would love it if, ever said source talksoccer lol.

i'm pretty sure it got in the papers cause they must look on newsnow....and talksoccer was the only site which reported this rumour....
