Luton have won the League Managers' Association's 'Performance Of The Week' award for their victory at Crystal Palace.
The Hatters - promoted last term - gave a mature display to win 2-1 last weekend against a team relegated from the Premiership in 2004/05.
Manager Mike Newell said: "We have proved to ourselves that we might be able to cope at this level."
The five-man LMA panel was made up of Sir Alex Ferguson, chairman Howard Wilkinson, Ipswich manager Joe Royle, Peterborough owner Barry Fry and Southampton assistant boss Dave Bassett.
