Palace ponder Amo swoop
Manager Iain Dowie wants to see Italian striker Nicola Amoruso in action for Crystal Palace before deciding whether to sign him.
The Eagles are interested in the 30-year-old, who has played for Juventus and Sampdoria, but are unwilling to make him an offer without seeing him play first.
Assistant manager Neil McDonald said: "Nicola didn't really want to play in a match for us and the manager wasn't prepared to make a decision without seeing him first.
"Whether or not we decide to bring him over again remains to be seen, but he's got a good reputation."
