Default QPR 3-2 Leicester

Quote:
QPR roared back from two goals down to floor Leicester after David Connolly's dismissal turned the game.
Leicester were in control at the break, thanks to Jamie Scowcroft's tap-in and Connolly's superb curling 25-yard shot.

Connolly's dismissal for a second needless yellow card inspired Rangers who pulled one goal back through Lee Cook's header.

Paul Furlong then headed Rangers level from Martin Rowlands'cross and nodded in the winner from a Cook cross.

QPR manager Ian Holloway:
"It has never been easy for us, and to come back from two goals down against a quality team is probably one of the best feelings I have ever had.
"I don't think we deserved to be two down at half-time on the balance of play, but I felt we needed to get more bodies into the box and to be a bit more adventurous.

"I feel my team went about their business today, showed fantastic spirit and I can't tell you how proud I am."

Leicester boss Micky Adams:
"I told David Connolly that he has cost us the game.
"I don't want to comment on the actual sending-off; I am going to have to have another look at it before I do that.

"It's very frustrating from the team's point of view, because we have had a chance to win a game we should have won if we had kept our discipline."

Shoulda, Coulda, DIDN'T!::blerrrrr

That's like 9 goals in three games...

qpr are in a purple patch at the moment and coming from goals down to take the points shows the determination to maintain the run. ipswich 2 down at home to plymouth after only 13 minutes staged a similar fight back to get up late in the game kufqi subbing for 2 late winners. we need a lot more strength in defence though like ipswich i think qpr have a good chance this year. good luck

The result was greeted with a huge chorus of boos after the match

It was greeted with a smirk, and a cold beer after my peer group heard the match score.::talksocc

Look at this way, Nathan:

Look at some of the clubs in the top haf of the table. We (United, Wolves, and Leics) are in the bottom haf getting our rough patches out of the way. We haven't really even started yet. Do you think the clubs that have started like trains can sustain that given the number of fixtures in this league? Do you think it's going to stay like that? 'Cause I certainly don't. Come the latter stages of the season players will be flagging and/or injured. Look at the strength in depth we all have and then look at them. Dunno about you's but we regularly have at least 2/3 Internationals on the bench.

Patience is a virtue, my friend. Slowly slowly, catcy monkey. ::
