Darlington to join Hornets
Watford are poised to sign defender Jermaine Darlington following his release by Milton Keynes Dons.
The 30-year-old full-back refused to take a pay cut to stay with the Dons and has agreed a two-year deal with the Hornets.
Darlington will be reunited with Terry Burton, the man who signed him for Wimbledon three years ago and is now assistant manager at Vicarage Road.
His agent Tony Finnigan said: "Jermaine's delighted to have his future settled. He had other offers but Watford are a good club and he knows Terry Burton well."
Darlington was also wanted by Nottingham Forest but the lure of a club closer to London appears to have swayed him.
does he play left or right back or both?
what do you reckon of him?
