Arrow Bent moves

New Everton striker Marcus Bent has spoken of his delight over signing for the Merseyside outfit after completing a £400,000 switch from Ipswich Town.
The pacey forward will link up with England starlet Wayne Rooney at Goodison Park next season after Toffees boss David Moyes finally landed his long-term target.

Moyes tried to sign Bent when he was in charge at Preston and the former Sheffield United favourite is pleased to have finally linked up with the fiery Scot.

''The gaffer said he tried to sign me when he was at Preston and I was moving from Sheffield United to Blackburn,'' confirmed Bent.

''When you hear something like that, it gives you confidence.

''Everton are a big club with ambition, even if they have under-achieved in recent years.''

I thought he was at Leicester lol
::hahaha::
