Frank Lampard's agent admits there are no plans for new contract talks with Chelsea this summer...
I can't believe Chelsea are taking a risk to see him leave...

I think the Italian league would suit his game perfectly. He'd do well there..
I'm sure Terry and Lampard only signed new contracts a year ago though. If they love the club so much I'm sure they could struggle by on 100k a week.
Somebody needs to keep these cunts in check because player power is getting out of hand. Not just those two, but footballers in general.

FC UNITED OF MANCHESTER, variously described and derided as 'brave rebels', 'irrelevant outsiders' and 'a right bunch of dicks'. Living testament to that peculiarly Mancunian talent for gazing at the world in all it's wonder, thinking for a minute, and then muttering "Nah that's bollocks. This is how we'll do it..."

I know. My surprise was in regards to seeing an England international in serie a.
Im not a fan of Lampard. Juve are going to have to pay 100k a week at the least, and he shouldn't be making more than Trezeguet or Buffon, let alone as much or possibly more, than Del Piero.

Frank Lampard could be heading for a move to Italy where he is wanted at Juventus by his former Chelsea manager Claudio Ranieri.
The England international has yet to sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge and Ranieri is ready to take advantage by luring him to Serie A in a £12million deal.
The Tinkerman was the manager who signed Lampard from West Ham for £11m six years ago and the Daily Mirror insists he is ready to capture him for a second time.
And he will use a reasonable chunk of the £70m he has been given to strengthen Juve following their return to the top flight in Italy.
Chelsea fear Lampard may allow his contract, which has two years still to run, to wind down and they may have to sell him before then to avoid losing the star midfielder for nothing.

cant see it happening myself but you never know, fingers crossed!

Considering only Henry has scored and created more goals than him in the last 3 seasons, I can safely say that the already mega-rich Lampard would suffer less by going to Barca than we would be being left with Ballack as our only goalscoring midfielder.
But of course, as usual, there is no move on the horizon.

The England midfielder has two years left of his current deal and negotiations over a new deal are ongoing.
There has been speculation that the ex West-Ham player may opt to buy out the remainder of his contract under FIFA regulations.
But Lampard's enthusiasm about wanting to snatch the Premier League title back from Manchester United in 2007-2008 suggests his commitment to the Blues is not wavering.
He intends to rest up this summer before helping Jose Mourinho's attempt to win the title for the third time in four years.
Lampard said: "I am looking forward to a summer. It's been a very long season. The last few seasons have all been long. I've got a clear month now and I am looking forward to resting a lot.
"I've felt tired at different stages of my career. Sometimes you feel tired at Christmas when you are bogged down with games.
"It's just a matter of resting at the right times and now I've got a good summer.
"But I am looking forward to a good season with Chelsea where we want to win the league next year. It is important we come back firing and do that."

Lampard is way too thick to go anywhere else other than Spain. He speaks some Spanish because of his wife but he is so unlikely to be anywhere near smart enough to learn italian that he definately isnt going there.
I want him to stay because he is part of the backbone and as long as he has a good rest this summer he'll be better next season. I think he's had a good season, better than Gerrard, and yet Lampard's the one who gets criticised just because he doesnt tackle people as if he wants to break their legs or act like a captain... because he's not one.
