Great goals especially the second one. Really does look like a prospect, strong pacey and obviously has a good strike.

Default Sahar: I deserve Chelsea place

Israeli superkid Ben Sahar believes he should be starting for Chelsea after his double against Estonia this week.

The 17-year-old striker came off the bench to score twice in three minutes against Estonia to lift his country above England in Group E.

"Now I want to show Chelsea I am worth a place in their team," said Sahar.

He's still not up to Chelsea starting standard yet... might be good for the bench though. Very exciting youngster. I love it when there are lads like this.

Well if he can get into his national team that is quite an acheivement. However I agree JM he won't be able to get into the first team but he could be a gd dynamic sub.

Compare away mate, like hearing about youth players out there, I know Barcelona have some real raw talents in there C and B teams, like the Serb/Spanish Bojan.

Iago I've heard wonders about.

Sahar along with Sinclair and the Espanyol youngster Tejera who joined this summer are real talents in our team atm.

How many youth think will make that push to your first team in coming years? I'm sure De Santos will be in A team next year?

Sorry for the late reply man my internet connection was messed up.

Bojan is probably the best out of the current crop and he has the highest chance of making it.

889 goals in 7 seasons with the youth team don't think any player has ever had that record and he is 16 playing against 20 year olds for the current Barca B side has scored 10 goals so far this season in 12 games. Also did well for the spanish u19 side as a 16 year old becoming top goal scorer as they won the title very good dribbler and pacey.

Iago is a sparky player another of my favs has the best left foot ever seen in the youth academy, but he will find it difficult since he has to compete with another young talent alcantara(chelsea were after him, he is just like deco).

Then there is gai assulin best player in cadet A and can take control of any game unlike messi, ronnie. However to many wingers/playmakers emerging through the barca system.

Krol- strong presence, powerful player from germany

Terron- said to be better than puyol at his age, but puyol was a late bloomer still though what i have seen from him has been pretty amazing,

Valiente - barca captain through every rank up to the B team, spanish u19 cb paired with pique,

Jeffren - determined winger and spanish u19 starter can play on both flanks and rumoured to be converted to a fullback because of all the wingers barca are producing, calvo tricky player and spanish u19 starter seems that he wont get a chance here

ceballos(may have seen videos of him doing tricks with ronaldinho)

deulofeu big talks about past summer when he led barca u12 to the spanish title scoring 30 goals along the way.

Terjera is a very good player, but i don't know if he will make it at chelsea to be honest.

Well answering your questions i think next season only dos santos, valiente and maybe jeffren will be promoted.

Dos santos is a very good player, but the barca wingers at the moment are amazing and still very young. That is why i think bojan has the best chance out of the current crop since he is the only real amazing forward and barca don't have a lot.

Saying that though dos santos will get a lot of games since ezquerro and possibly gudjohnsen/saviola are leaving. He was amazing in the u17 world cup and mexico really believe that he will be the one who would one day lead them to world cup glory.

Lyon were interested in him january, but he rejected. Hopefully he comes through well and does well at the highest level.

This kid will be a superstar. From what I've seen on highlights, he has a quick first step and his shot selection is well placed.

You heard it hear first, Israel has a gem of a player.

Great post mate ^^ they in Dallas cup? (could of been Madraid) Chelsea have coverage of this starting from Aprill get to see alot of great young players, I know Barce are in the massaive Maylasia under 19 cup in Auguest that's gonna be a great compition to watch with all the best youngsters in the world.

I'm not sure about Sergio Tejera atm, he was injured for around 3 month, then came back very strong now a reguler in reserve team, he's is deffently a number 10 player, woun't do the defending, takes all free kicks and corners , has a sweet left foot, but isin't at Woods,Sahar and Sinclair level which will be fighting for a squad spot.

I had a very good feeling about Mino Stoch, very fast, small skillfull left winger, but struggle abit at reserve level, allways isolated, but is too strong for under 18 level scoring over 10 goals I believe.

If Slobodon Rajakovic does join up in Summer along with a creative winger I think Chelsea youth will be a team to watch out for this Youth torniment in August which Barcelona are entering.

Don't think they are in the dalass cup will check though.

The problem with chelsea is though just what you have just said bringing in the likes of rajakovic, tejera, stoch.

For example look at most other clubs they have youngsters player with each from the age of 10 till senior level. Same with barca even with the foreign guys they are brought in at the age of 10-13.

The kids need to play with each other a lot if they ever are going to accomplish anything as a team.

Also the advantage the barca players is that most of them are playing against people that are 3-4 years older than them.

I agree mate, we went out early in this year youth cup something that happend last year as well. Chelsea club is reformed, it's starting from the youth, the 1 hour policy is a bitch (only sign player at age of 8 if they are 1 hour drive from the club) it's not like Bayern or Ajax with vast amount of youth players to choice from as they all willing, though I'm glad to see Sawyer and Hutchinson(best to choose from) (England under 18 level) been at Chelsea since age of 8 making a name for them selfs.

We as Barcelona and many other teams I know Arsenal use there B team or Reserve team as the next platform to devlop there players from youth level, as youth and reserve games are complety differnt, (or most go on loan) but atm our reserve team average age is 17 with oldest player being 21(keeper Makelaymbay ,who should leave this summer) playing against Adults fringe players from the senior teams.

Youth level needs continity and it seems to be heading to that direction, we got an excellent youth set up now, which only brings interest for youth players to want to join up.
