Chelsea reserves and youth team updates (New youth players)

Scott Sinclair scored Plymouth's first goal in a 2-2 draw with Wolves.

It was his first start and he got subsituted after 82mins.

The Pilgrims took the lead against the run of play when Scott Sinclair went on a mazy run and cut in from the left to fire through the legs of Matt Murray.

Can't find the goal as of yet but I'll post it when it goes on youtube.

Chelsea topped our Group in the Under-19s tournament in Dallas with this convincing win over Arsenal USA. The other Group winners were Real Madrid and Sao Paulo.

Madrid and Sao Paulo now contest one semi-final. Chelsea face wild card second placed Southampton from one of the Groups in the other semi-final.

Arsenal USA, says Chelsea manager Brendan Rodgers, are a highly rated team.

'They are the All-American national champions at that age. They are very strong.'

But Chelsea won easily with two more goals from Ben Sahar - he now has five in the tournament - plus goals from Lee Sawyer, Sam Hutchinson (pictured) and Sergio Tejera.

A Hutchinson foul gave Arsenal USA a penalty at 4-0.

The team lined up with a four-man diamond midfield, one striker, and one winger.

Today is a second day off for the youngsters. On their first one they visited the JFK museum. Today they are shopping!

They have topped the Group by beating Guadalajara 2-1, Takigawa Daini 4-1 and now Arsenal USA.

Southampton have a good youth team, I'm being serious, they only won 1-0, Sao Paulo beat Southampton in group only 1-0 as well. We only beat them 1-0 .

Scott Sinclair just scored for Reserves. It's no surprise that when he goes off we start drawign 0-0 a lot! He's apparently beefed up a lot and he looks in great shape.

Chelsea have allowed defender Jonas Elmer leave the club and return to Switzerland after the player agreed a two-year deal with FC Aarau.

Elmer was snapped up by the Blues in the summer of 2005 from Grasshoppers after he was inolved in the U-17 European championships in Italy, and featured regularly for the club's reserve and youth teams - both in attack, as well as at full-back - before going on to make three first-team appearances, all off the bench.

The 19-year-old inked a new two-year contract with Chelsea only last April and went on win U-18 and U-21 caps for his country, before deciding to return home and link up with the Swiss Super League side.

Nicky Ahamed

A holding midfielder, from the Wembley area, he has been with Chelsea since he was 10. He played four games, starting two, in the youth team last season.


Niclas Heimann

A German goalkeeper, a free signing from Bayer Leverkusen who is a good size, has good style and is left-footed.


Jordan Hibbert

An attacking midfielder, a South London boy who has been with Chelsea since he was 11. He played eight games, starting six, in the youth team last season and scored twice.


Billy-Joe King

A left-back who has come back well after a long lay-off with a dislocated knee. He has been with Chelsea since he was about seven. Lives in Claygate.


Jacob Mellis

The England Under-16s international attacking midfielder signed this summer from Sheffield United. He has already played at the new Wembley.


Adam Phillip

A striker who somehow got missed by standard scouting and only came into the system aged 15. Eighteen months ago he was playing Sunday park football. Now he has played at the new Wembley. He played six games in the youth team last season, starting three, and scored once.


Daniel Philliskirk

A second striker or attacking midfielder signed this summer from Oldham.


Jack Saville

A left-sided centre-half who joined from Reading Under-14s at the same time as Brendan Rodgers, now reserve team coach. He played four games in the youth team last season.


Jan Sebek

A Czech Under-16s international goalkeeper who is already 1.96m, the same height as Petr Cech. He is a raw talent who also plays as a striker for his Czech club.


Jordan Tabor

Another left-back, from the Oxford area, he has been with Chelsea for two years. He played five games in the youth team last season, starting three.

Can 99% confirm that, Jeffery Bruma (16 cm) , Gael Kakuta (16 , AM) Ben Gordon (16 ,LB) and Van Allanholt (17 cd) have joined Youth/reserves.

I try get a list of the squad for both youth and reserve up soon , so if anyone interested can see what it looks like, I can give my take on who I like in current squad.
