Default Chelsea interested in Adriano

Inter have the right to match any offer.... 8)

Parma general director Patrick Nebiolo has confirmed Chelsea’s approach for striker Adriano. “Chelsea are the club who have asked for him with the most insistence,” he said.

“I received a telephone call on Saturday, but they know if they want Adriano they must wait until the end of the season.”

However, the financial crisis that has engulfed the club because of the collapse of Parmalat could see the Gialloblu forced to sell their star assets such as Adriano.

The player has also expressed his concern at the current situation within the club and is already considering a move in the January transfer window.

Big talent....and I mean big. Similar to Vieri...but with more skill. Lacks Vieiri's mean streak though.

If Chelsea makes an offer, Inter have the right to match...as they own 50% of him. They will have to deal with INTER also, I think all three teams could work out some deal possibly, as INTER have to many strikers. Will it include Adriano? At this stage, I think not. Vieri has a better chance of joining Chelsea, from what I hear.

I sure wouldn't mind Duff in an INTER jersey....

yup...

Yes, he is over 30...but in many ways, he more effective than ever. Even when he is uninterested and not playing up to potential, he is dangerous. He scored in their last game, and people thought he played liked crap.

Think about this way, we sold Crespo, but we could of sold Vieri just as easy and gotten more money at the time. Mind you, he hasn't gotten on to a role yet, but that will change soon..IMHO.

The future is now for Chelsea, INTER's top team is still a few years away. Chelsea would be very lucky to get a player of his class. Remember, he still starts for the Azzuri, along side Del Piero...ahead of Pippo and DiVaio.
