Whatever happens this is what you are up against:
ManU:
Saha and Neville out
Chelsea:
Ballack, Carvalho and Shev out. A.Cole, Mikel, Robben probably out.
How can you possibly win?

Inter Milan offer Adriano for Chelsea's Shevchenko
Quote:
Inter Milan have offered Adriano in a swap bid for Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko.
The Mirror says the Serie A champions have grown tired of the 25-year-old's party lifestyle and he is no longer first choice at the San Siro.
But Chelsea are unlikely to want to sign Adriano while Shevchenko would be reluctant to sign for the rivals of his former club AC Milan.

Daniel Alves agent has £16M Chelsea bid
Quote:
Chelsea have made a £16 million offer for Sevilla wing-back Daniel Alves.
AS says Chelsea have tabled the bid to Daniel Alves' agent, Jose Rodriguez Baster, who also has a rival £15 million proposal from AC Milan. Baster will pass both offers onto Sevilla management at the end of the Spanish Liga season.
Chelsea chief Frank Arnesen is understood to have discussed personal terms with Baster in London last Friday, while the Blues had Juan Cruz Sol check on the Brazilian in action against Real Zaragoza.

Chelsea and Barcelona have made tentative enquiries about the availability of Juventus captain Alessandro del Piero.
Gazzetta dello Sport says both European giants have asked agents about Del Piero's situation with little movement coming from Juve over new contract talks.
Del Piero has just over a year left on his existing deal and Juve chief Jean-Claude Blanc said today: "We've already spoken with Ale, but not about his contract. The agreement expires in 2008, there is plenty of time."

Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has claimed he's in talks to sign Chelsea's Arjen Robben.
The 23-year-old Dutchman was reportedly close to signing a new deal to keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2012 but now it seems as if a move to Spain is more likely.
"We are in discussions with Chelsea and the player, they are at an early stage but we hope to sign him," Calderon told reporters at the European Parliament in Brussels.
"Bringing Robben was one of my pledges when I was running for president and still remains the case."
In May, Robben said he hoped to remain with the FA Cup winners having refused an approach from German giants Bayern Munich.
Last season, a thigh strain and knee injury kept Robben on the sidelines for several weeks of the campaign.

Calderon playing the fool again. I'd be amazed if we didn't call UEFA in this time.

I don't remember the last time any official person from our club openly spoke about specific transfer targets before deals had been initiated.

1. Jaap Stam (and chums).
2. Again, not really relevant to this specific example. You can't stop meeting behind the scenes...you can stop blaring things out to all media channels.

Arjen Robben's father insists the winger will sign a new five-year deal with Chelsea.
In his role as his son’s representative, Hans Robben has also denied claims from Real Madrid that negotiations have been opened about a move.
The Holland international, 23, has two years left on his contract at Stamford Bridge but is expected to tie up a new deal in the next fortnight.
Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon will be a guest at Robben’s wedding to childhood sweetheart Bernadien Elliert tomorrow and the midfielder’s father believes his future at Chelsea is assured.
He said: “We are nearly finished negotiating with Chelsea and Arjen will stay another five years with the club.”
Doubts were raised yesterday when Madrid president Ramon Calderon said: “We are in talks with Chelsea and the player, they are at an early stage but we hope to sign him. Bringing Robben was one of my pledges when I was running for president and still remains the case.”
It follows Bayern Munich being strongly linked with a move for Robben, but his father dismissed the latest transfer talk.
Hans Robben said: “I did not speak to Calderon, I never met him or anyone from Real Madrid and did not speak to them.”
The Madrid president made a similar claim last summer and landed himself in trouble with Chelsea, who wrote to FIFA to complain, but the club have not yet responded this time.
