Chelsea don't need Berbatov enough to spend 35 million. For me he's not worth an awful lot more than what Spurs paid for him. He creates a lot of hype with some lovely touches, but his end product isn't that remarkable nor has it ever been, nor will it ever be.

Ribery is a good player, probably better than what we currently have, but still not quite what I was thinking.

Aguero and Benzema would be my choices.

Inter Milan are preparing a major bid for forgotten Chelsea winger Florent Malouda. Malouda has hardly featured in his first season at Chelsea and the Daily Express says Inter will offer £15 million to take him to Italy in the summer.

I'm not so sure about Ferreira leaving us...he signed a new 5 year contract a few months ago.

If either of our right backs is leaving then it is Belletti for sure as he is out of favour with Grant.

Very highly, he is better than Maicon. Only right-back who is better is Dani Alves, that says it all.

Bosingwa tackles better than pretty much all offensive full-backs in the world, the guy is at least as fast as Evra, makes some awesome runs down the wings, good technique, relatively strong for someone as thing as he is.

Only flaw he has is his crossing, which isn't very good.


The deal is done btw, 20.5m € for 80% of his rights. The other 20% belong to someone called Rui Reno.

A very very good signing for Chelsea!

I was hoping UNited would snap him up, but looks like Chelsea have learned from Uniteds quick market transfers last season in getting nani and anderson.

If anywhere I think that is the one area Chelsea could improve... and improve they have with this guy!

Going to be another tight one next year!
