couple of things for me,

make sure that xavi and deco are totally covered up, by tiago/makalele/lampard.

utilise the pace of duff and kezman against the ageing albertini and get gudjohnson to attract the attentions of puyol.

if we get duff in he can exploit the space left by the barca fullbacks who are actually better going forward than they are at defending.

seriously for this away game id go 5-3-2

---------------------------Cech

---Ferreira----Gallas----Terry----Carvalho----Smertin

--------------------------Makelele-------------------------

------------Tiago----------------------Lampard-----------

--------------Gudjohnsen--------Duff---------------------

i would seriously do something like this, a draw away at barca is a great result, nothing wrong with playing defensive.

if we play Gallas out left, his speed is nothing to us, in the centre with terry and carvalho, he would be able to keep up with eto'o with terry and carvalho catching ronaldinho and deco if they get past makelele

when we defend, move duff back into a 3 with tiago and lampard

might be a good idea, but its wrong to fear barca too much.

once again the cold will be a factor, they wont like it and the pitch is hard.

the players arent tactically aware enough to revert to a back three yet, jose said it himself.

gallas or carvalho? well riccys euro experience is so useful, but im sure willys sheer athleticism will be invaluable when marking sammy eto'o.

we will go to a diamond like i predicted.

we looked good vs newcastle though in the diamond and it will work better against a team that concentrates more on winning than newcastle did.

we cant play in a 433 Mike cole and Guddy are too central, however i imagine they will be given a bit of freedom and the responsibility of tracking the full backs.
