hard question
u have 3 world class CB's
season b4 last Gallas was best in the league IMO
but last season Terry was better than him
and Carvalho was brilliant at Porto
strange because he's 3rd choice
but I'd say Gallas - pace/adaptability

I'd have said they have two world class CBs, IMO Terry ain't world class.

I dont think terry is world class but i think he is the most influential and best performing centre back in the side.

Carvahlo and Gallas are better than Terry world class wise but Terry works the hardest out of all them therefore I like him the best.Carvahlo is still adapting IMO and when he gets to perfect form I will say he is the best.

tbf, I reckon Terry is a solid centreback, but does he regularly start for England? No. Because he's not a world class defender. On the other hand, Gallas and Carvalho are regular starters for France and Portugal, which means they are more likely to be called world class because they regularly play for their national side.
But I think our best defender, (although he's only just got here) is Carvalho.

Terry did do pretty well at Euro 2004. he isnt a regular international cos sven doesn drop his old players and gives others a chance. |

On form, rio and sol are world class individuals and the best partnership in the world. The way terry plays as a cb, he will only replace sol due to them both being out and out strong defenders, but he isnt as good as sol. Woodgate or king should be in line to replace rio.

I can honestly say after looking at some of my taped videos of Chelsea this season that without a doubt Carvahlo is our best.He is such class I'm thrilled to have him abroad.
