Claudio Ranieri has launched a scathing attack on Chelsea strikers Adrian Mutu and Hernan Crespo.

In his book Proud Man Walking, the former Stamford Bridge manager is highly critical of the two forwards he signed last season.

Ranieri said Mutu "had all the skills and flair, but to win championships things have to be right between the ears".

Of Crespo, who is now on loan at Inter Milan, Ranieri wrote: "There can be no place for nancy boys in my group... a player cannot use every slightest setback as an excuse for malingering."

Ranieri also described an extraordinary exchange when he called a team meeting and told the squad he had been omitting Crespo because the players were not passing to him.

And he was so angered by Robert Huth after the German defender trod on Alan Shearer at Newcastle, he told chief executive Peter Kenyon: "A player like that I can do without

What the fuck would Ranieri know about winning championships?? He's the biggest managerial failure of all time!

No1 has ever spent more money than him, and all he's won are the Mickey Mouse Spanish Cup, and the European SuperCup pre-season friendly. And he got Ath.Madrid relegated with a team worth about £80m!

When Ranieri was manager I really reckoned that he would be the gaffer who would really put his heart in Chelsea even if he left. And that was why he showed his tears of sorrow when he managed his last game in charge against Leeds.

And now he goes and says something like this. Well he can talk. He's probably the only, if not one of the managers we have had that has won fuck all with us, and he has the cheek to blame the players for it.

Well, he can fuck off for all I care, and manage those Spanish twats, cos I couldn't be damned with him anymore.

No both goals Lehman had no chance we played beautifully in that half. But yes being an idiot and not starting Crespo in the 2nd leg of Monaco cost us it(Crespo scored in the first leg!)

Lehmann let two balls slip from his grasp in that tie, one in each leg. He cost Arsenal the CL.
