Brian McLean will fill in at right-back for Motherwell against Celtic after captain Paul Quinn was ruled out for the season with a broken jaw.

Motherwell otherwise have a full squad, with midfielder Stephen Hughes fit to return following illness.

Celtic skipper Stephen McManus will face a fitness test on a calf injury.

Manager Gordon Strachan has no other injury worries as he hopes to extend his side's lead over Rangers at the top of the SPL to eight points.
