Marco biello - the long standing impact player

In 264 appearances, he has scored 65 goals for the impact. One of the true greats of this generation. I'm still shocked canada has called him up, he has a total of 4 caps and then you wonder why we suck when our best talent is left at home.

He was a crucial part in our success.... a true argie warrior!

YOUNG QUEBEC PLAYERS WITH THE IMPACT
A number of young Quebec players kicked off training camp with the Impact, January 7. Young prospects Alex Surprenant, Cristian Nunez, Massimo Di Ioia and Olivier Babineau are gaining more experience since their arrival in Fiuggi with the club, for the two-week pre-season winter tour in Italy. For team captain Mauro Biello, an experience like this one is priceless and beneficial for a young player's career. More details: News

Montreal develops good talent, I don't understand why canada doesn't look at their talent more often. They have been an intergral part in their system. Gabriel Gervais, Sandro Grande, Patrick Leduc, Adam Braz and Ali Gerba.... the list goes on!

My cousin giuseppe was being linked for a move there but he decided to stay in tampa, he loves it there.

The Great Nick Disantis....

Quote:
"If you create those three or four chances and you put one away, the game changes because they have to open up the game, so it's frustrating that we didn't score in the first half," De Santis said. "But I think we can say we can compete with an MLS team."

Impact ties with Seattle 1-1

Impact defender Stefano Pesoli scored the game-tying goal in the 84th minute, his first career goal with the Impact.

Quote:
“It’s satisfying because we did great tonight, notably by replying really fast to the goal they scored by scoring as well,” said Impact head coach John Limniatis. “We started the game well and we had control in the first half, but in the second half, they put more pressure on us. We allowed that goal because on the play, we did not react fast enough.''

The Impact is now unbeaten in its last five games (4-0-1), including the two wins against Vancouver in the Nutrilite Canadian Championship.
