The Ontario Soccer League Provincial West team was ousted from the provincial tournament losing 7-6 on penalty kicks to Wisla United in Oakville on Sunday.
Boavista got that goal back about five minutes later with Oscar Dasilva scoring, tying the game.
Brampton coach Jason Aguiar said
'his team has lots of pressure on Wisla but was unable to take advantage.'
Boavista is in its first year in the Provincial League having worked its way up from the Regional Divisions. Aguiar said the team has shown that it can be competitive but needs to finish on its chances.
