The surprise of the season?
What team do you feel is the surprise team of the season? Whether it be positive or negative...who are you surprised to see sitting in the current spot in the table?

I would have to pick Napoli and Samp. Napoli have shown great heart and have a good team. Coming from Serie B...i think they more then impressed upon their arrival.
Also, with the addition of Cassano, Samp have turned a corner. Samp are usually a mid table team, but they have earned a Uefa Cup spot and are a very excitement team to watch. With Bellucci and Cassano up front...and Maggio as well....this team can be very dangerous.

Lazio were the biggest surprise of the season, I expected them to be challenging for Europe.

I was sad to see Parma and Livorno go down to B....I wouldn't mind seeing Cagliari and Catania go down instead. But Livorno were the masters of their own demise...the team has been mismanaged for a while now.

And to think Spinesi put the club up for sale, I doubt he'll get much now.
There's too many muppet presidents around these days.

I think that Ibra may be rested to save himself for Euro...he was playing with devotion and playing on emotion...i think he still isn't fit and rushed back for this final. Had Inter already clinched the title, i don't even think he would of dressed up.

Ya they were going to be challenging for the spont, but after Milans season last seaon, did anyone really think they would end up 5th?
Everyone knew Inter and Roma were going to be in the top 4, and everyone expected juve to jump back into the top 5 at least..i put them at 4...and evereony thought for sure milan would be back up there as well. I thought they might have even challanged for the scudetto. Thats a suprise in its self. I dont think many really expected to see the viola in 4th

Milan are in a transition period. It should of happened at the beginning of this season, but the loyalty to the veterans has cost them. They need some new young blood. Get some speed back in the team...especially at defense.
