Do you really think Mutu will get the award ahead of Kaka and Ibra or that's who you want to win ?

Usually the players of the top teams are favored for these awards

Kaka isn't the same player in serie a that he is in Europe. He is still good, but he doesn't carry the frontline of his club in Italy like Mutu and Ibra do.

Mutu and Ibra have very similar stats, so u can flip a coin to decide that award.

It's fair enough, maybe domestically Totti was a bit more deserving but you can't really knock Kaka for winning it.

It's interesting to see Ronaldo won the Champion of Champions award though.

Oh and Frey was better than Peruzzi last year.

Domestically Ibra and Totti were better then Kaka.

Frey was better then Peruzzi who I think got the award because he retired.

Good to see Ronaldo winning the champions of champions award.

I don't understand the Kaka award either, nor do I understand how Mancini didn't get nominated??

Do you the critics think its easy to manage a bunch of egos???

Mancini easily has the best squad in the league (possibly Europe), so to be fair the likes of Spalletti and Prandelli have done better with what they have.

I didn't say he should win, I said nominated.

Look at this year, all the injuries.

And I also hold him responsible for getting Ibra's game back.

I'm not sure how the nomination process goes to be honest.

Ancelotti has had Milan for a long time, with some true champions who know how to in that CL. Great achievement, never said otherwise.

Mancini is still learning, and he is becoming better.

One thing that I notice with Mancini is that he is a teacher of the game, which to me, is much more important.

Though I never ever would put him in the same class as Wenger, though Wenger has sucked in the CL also, albeit a final appearance....both can teach, and to me that is very important.

One of the reasons that fans of this club understand that he is very important, and he has brought stability, a mentality and a way of playing to this club.

Regardless of success this year in CL or not, most Interati don't want him to leave if he doesn't succeed.

As I said, I'm not saying he should win ahead any of those guys, but I think we are missing something here.

One more thing, I also think that Mancini is having a say in transfers, more than he and management are saying.

How do you explain Pele? This gem of a player has come from no where, not even the Portugese were keen on him, but Mancini sees him once, not sure where?? And they sign him, and now look at him. Plays like an old Italian in the coveted holding position....Vieira your time is numbered!
