“Rocchi? He is contracted to us until 2009 and we are currently discussing an extension. The player is not for sale,” concluded Lotito.

He will stay...once the season is over and things settle down, he will put pen to paper...Lazio would be crazy to get rid of him. Too bad he didn't play for another club, or i would welcome him at Roma!

I'm sure they will...that will be the stumbling block reaching an agreement on the fee...but i'm sure Rocchi will get what he wants.

Lazio star Tommaso Rocchi admits that he is tempted by a summer move, despite President Claudio Lotito insisting he is not for sale.
The Biancoceleste’s 15 goals this season have been decisive for the capital city outfit and have made him a wanted man, with Juventus touted as one possible destination.
“Obviously I must consider the offers I receive, I am honoured by the interest shown in me by such prestigious sides,” said Rocchi after the goalless derby at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday.
“I am aware that the President says one thing to the Press and a different thing when he speaks to me,” added the striker, who is contracted until June 2009.
“We have agreed to discuss a new deal, we will only reveal the outcome of our meetings at the end. For now I am very happy to be the team’s first-choice striker, I always try to do my best for Lazio.”
Rocchi has made no secret of the fact that the only reason leading him to leave the outfit would be his annual salary, now a measly £510,000.
“I think it is normal for a player to consider carefully offers made by an important and strong club. When a player does well, it is logical that he would like to earn more,” concluded the 29-year-old.
The Biancoceleste grew up in the Juventus youth academy and the Bianconeri might make a move to lure him back to Turin, as they plan to strengthen their squad in view of their return to the top-flight.

Even though he's at Lazio, i really think highly of him. Great striker with a hunger for goal. Rocchi at Juve? Don't see it happening, but he could be in the top 7 list of players Juve are interested in. Just behind Cassano i believe.

“I want to stay here, Lazio want me to stay, so I think I will be wearing this jersey next year as well,” noted the former Empoli player.

That would be good if he stays. Lazio need him going into CL. They don't stand a chance without him in the lineup.

Rossi’s job has been made that much easier by the form of star striker Tommaso Rocchi, whose name continues to be linked with a summer move.
“I honestly don’t know how the Rocchi situation will end,” added the Coach. “We will just have to wait and see.”
The 29-year-old, 15 goals this season, recently stated that he had no desire to play for another outfit and would be happy to end his career at the Stadio Olimpico.

Rocchi will stay. There aren't that many strikers out there that would go to Lazio. Caracciolo? Not CL material. Lazio need Rocchi desperately.

Rocchi looks to stay at Lazio
Quote:
Agent: Rocchi wants Lazio stay
tribalfooball.com - May 15, 2007
The agent of Tommaso Rocchi says the striker wants to extend his stay with Lazio.
Oscar Damiani revealed: "Half of Europe are chasing Rocchi. But he is happy at Lazio.
"He'd prefer to be No1 at a club like Lazio, than third or fourth choice elsewhere.
"(Lazio president Claudio) Lotito is easy to deal with. He is an outstanding person and a pleasure to deal with."

Rocchi would not be stupid as to move to another club.
He is already a first team player in Lazio, he is doing so well, why would he want to change surroundings especially to Juve? He has to wait another season before even having a realistic chance of actually playing in CL. He is not some young kid waiting for a break, he is almost 30 and time is not on his side.
I am sure Lotito would come out with a deal for him.

Yeah, I agree.
He just needs the wage increase he deserves.

Lazio will be in CL and it wouldn't be the brightest move to leave. And Lazio will find it difficult to replace someone of his importance. Rocchi will stay after receiving a nice pay raise.
