For myself, i try not to stay away from the Lazio forum, primarily because it's part of the Calcio section and think it's wrong to avoid it totally. But it does pain me a great deal to post there.

I don't mind posting there, but I don't watch Lazio as often as I watch some other clubs so I don't have as much to say about them.

Just don't expect me to contribute to any kind of Behrami appreciation thread, should one ever appear.

It's very, very difficult to keep a club forum active when there are no fans from that club registered to the site.

If I'm being honest the only active club forums in the calcio section at the moment are Roma, Milan and Juventus (just about). The Inter forum is a bit of a disappointment but Jager has other commitments (which is understandable) and there aren't really any other Inter fans around. The rest (Fiorentina, Lazio and Parma) are no surprise as we lack fans from those clubs but they'll grow in time.

Actually I don't find the Inter forum disappointing, there seem to be enough non-Inter fans willing to post about Inter that it stays afloat. I agree about the importance of club fans to club forums, though. I would ask "what do you think we can do to attract more fans of various clubs?", but that's the million-dollar question when it comes to publicity (on forums and elsewhere) anyway.

Maybe I'm being a little harsh on the Inter forum because of what the other 'big' team forums are like at the moment.

I mean the problem is that there's only so much you can do with club forums without any fans, other than the game threads and one or two high profile transfer rumours you're not going to get much else. But we're just setting the groundwork right now, once people see our potential and sign up this place will be buzzing.

I have added a bunch of clips on youtube of various clips and i always put the address www.talksoccer.net in the title so whenever people watch my clips, they see the website address. In all honesty, i thought that would attract more fans. some clips have 19,000 hits, 18,000 hits.

If you guys don't know how I feel about your work, let me tell you now in this thread. Awesome!

Every mod in here, every Italian supporter, even the occasional visit from the outside fan or fans from other leagues.

We have built a nice forum that is up to date, and well run.

Sorry for not being here more regularly. Some projects have hampered me down, but I'm here, and check up regularly.

And with you guys, I don't have to do some much work, that is a credit to all of you.

Everyone does a fabulous job in the Calcio section. From Admin-Members. We all contribute to the best of our abilities and can discuss Italian football in a respectable environment where we keep any foul language to a minimum and respect each others views on certain subject and can politely disagree when need be. These aspects are what truly make a good forum. Good debates, good topics, well organized. Thanks everyone for your effort! Let’s keep this forum the best on TS!!!!

Ya the calcio section is sweet. Im so glad ive found this site...Before this all i had was like goltv, calcio magazines, and chanell4.com now i think about this site all day..I cant wait to wake up and see what people have said, or to comment on somthing. Its a sweet site, its run really well and everyone on here is great...UNLESS YOU ARE A LAZIO FAN! haha

To be honest, I don't find the "Inter" forum to be a problem....or am I missing something?

Compared to many other forums I have seen we are fine.

TS is still a baby, and the key is to add fans, no matter what team they support.

There are Inter supporters on here, they are just not hardcore like you guys, which is fine. Since most posters are not daily posters, but occasional guys.

The key is to find a right mix, keep things up to date as best as possible. It took me forever to find Milan fans, now I have a few, and expect a few more.

As long as the "calcio section" is active, they will come. Gauranteed.
