I'm not disappointed to see the back of them.
Who else goes down is anyone's guess at the moment though.

Siena or Chievo. Both are weak clubs. I rather see Chievo go. Del Neri can get fired again. That guy must be most fired coach in Serie A the past 3 years.

Chievo is one that I hope can stay up. They're a great story, with the whole "flying donkey" thing and all that, and it would be sad (for me) to see them go.
It's really going to come down to the fixture schedule in the last three rounds, and who has some matches left that they can actually win.

Yeah, I'd hate to see Chievo go as well.
Personally I wouldn't mind seeing someone like Cagliari relegated.

The only benefit of either of these clubs going down are we will see either Obina or Suazo and others move to another club...hopefully.

I think the best result this week would have to be the Parma thrashing over Messina and the victory for Torino. This late in the season, shows the true colours of clubs in the relegation battle. Very happy to see Torino and Parma get three points today!

Palermo can count themselves a little lucky to get Europe after the second half of the season they've had.
Well done to Empoli though.

I'm glad Empoli ended up with a UEFA Cup spot. Now Saudati can get a new tattoo, and Pozzi can enjoy (?) his dead finger to a greater extent.
I'm also very pleased with how the final table ended up as a big "fuck you" to the calciopoli points penalties. The implication is that the accused clubs couldn't have gotten anywhere without cheating-- and in the wake of this summer, having started the season with points penalties and that whole thing hanging over our heads, look at us now: Milan wins the CL and finishes fourth in the league, Lazio finishes third, Fiorentina makes the UEFA Cup, Reggina avoids relegation. Very, very nice.
