I think in the end Roma got distracted by the CL, had Inter beaten Valencia anything could have happened.

Everyone knew competing in three competitions was going to be a daunting task...but they tried. Inter proved to be too powerful. Inter should of beat Valencia though...disappointed they lost.

The thing is though if anyone has the squad to win the league and the CL it's Inter so maybe it wouldn't have made that much difference. That's probably Roma's biggest weakness, the squad depth.

Inter just got unlucky in the games against Valencia. And especially after what transpired in the second leg. Inter has enough players to play Serie A, CL and CI without feeling fatigue at all...next year they will be stronger as well.

Not sure, so I better ask you guys. The minus 8 points written at Milan for example, have they already been taken from Milan or those points will be taken in the end?

Aha, thanks.
If they wouldn't have been deducted, Milan would have been so close with Roma.

It would of made a real battle for second spot in CL. The 1-1 draw on Mar. 31 would of been an even better game had Milan not suffered any points penalty. Don't forget about Fiorentina, they would of been in the race as well. Would of had 65 points!

Fiorentina have been class this season, even with the 15 point deduction they've stormed up the table.

So long, Messina... come back soon, we all know bashing skulls in is more fun in Serie A.
To be fair, they deserve it though. 9 points behind the third-place relegation spot (and with no points penalty or anything) is very weak.
