Xavi - Third Most Capped Barca Player
Massive blow for Barca, maybe its time to get someone on a short contract. I would love to see Keano play 6 months at barca.

They'll not be that weak. They've Mark van Bommel, Iniesta and Gabri in that position too. MvB is a great player and will not do a bad job. But its off course sad news both for for Barca and Spain.

is van bommel still injured? if not, than this isn't a big loss for barca, might be for spain depending on if he will be back in time for the WC.

Motta and Edmilson can also play in that position. I think MvB is fit for fight next week.

a blow...but iniesta has been waiting for a long time to make his mark....this was the kid that outshone fabregas at youth level...i.e. awesome.

you wont get him on loan...that isnt going to happen.
you will have to compete with real madrid for his permanent signature if you really want him....but tbh i dont think he would fit in at barca.

iniesta is an attacker...xavi is a defensive midfielder...you cant compare them. but you can say van bommel, edmilson, motta, gabri?? can have him coverd. although the quality goes down a bit. sadly now you wont be able to see the awsome midfield of xavi deco and van bommel work together. this happened during training just like edmilson's and gabri's injury....i think its about time they changed the turf in the training ground before they lose ronnie.

xavi is a creative dynamo that works hard in defence when necessary.
iniesta is better going forward, but not as good at passing/defending admittedly, however, he needs games and has the talent to be the next xavi or perhaps better.
