Things is not that dark in Catalunya..
Nope..its not.
For me, espesially the Norwegian supporters of Barca, have complained and complained over Barca this season. Yes, you are not playing perfect football at the moment and yes Ronaldinho is not he once were and the 1-0 defeat against Madrid in El Clasico home at Camp Nou were not a good situation.
But come on!
Real Madrid have done a new record in La Liga when it comes to take points, but you're still only 7 points behind and there are 18 matches left and 54 points left to play. Madrid will lose sooner or later, and it looks like you win, win and win in these days. Messi is also back.
Copa del Reyes - Real Madrid are out and you are favorites to win.
Champions League - you won the group and are wider to play Celtic...a team you will defeat.
Also, you can still win all the three competitions and I don't think you'll lose so much more this season either. I am convinced that Madrid will go on a blame pretty soon, and I think you will win 1-2 titles this season...now when some people have written you off already.
Things turn fast - also in football.

Yeah, as one commentator said, Barca may not be playing spectacular football as they used to, but they're getting the points.

but we know that sooner or later, ronaldinho is going to be back to the team/bench. everytime I think of it, it makes me hate football.
* if I were once happy that my team play "imperfect" football and gets the points... I'd simply support real madrid.

I agree, but we were never good in knock-out matches and with the "losers" spirit of this season, it seems impossible.

7 points is damn alot when you look at barcelona unable to score more than 2 goals in the easiest games even though they create alot and the opponents are far from making any danger (yet sometimes score... hmm, no not realy) then turn to real madrid's game and watch 70 minutes with a permanent smile on your face seeing the opponents play perfect passing in the madridian half and enjoy spectacular saves from an alian called casillas, just to have the same de-ja-vu feeling everytime again, when van nistelrooy smiles his evil smile or robinho sucks his black thumb, some instants later.
what's more stupid is that you wake up the next morning reading the reviews and critics about both matches, realy dumb words written by men in suits who don't even have the time to watch highlits of matches they themselves have to analyse. "everything is great in the spanish capital". and then go to school/work and listen to annoying fellows who give blind trust to the newspapers they read. and of course, you want to tell them what realy happened the day before in spain, but well, you're nothing but a joke after the 24th of december, so just shut up and accept it. this season is over.

A win in the Bernabeu and Madrid to draw twice and us winning twice is all we need. That is still asking quite a lot tho, especially when we're fighting on 3 fronts and they're only fighting on 2.

Jupp, its even, even Real Madrid have breaked all records in La Liga this season. 7 points ahead isn't that much in La Liga...and Madrid will get some defeats sooner or later.
But 16-0-0 at Bernabeu and victories away against Barcelona, Valencia, A.Madrid and Villarreal makes them a good favorite at the moment, even I still believe that Barca will take a Real Madrid ala 2006/2007 and win in the bitter end with bad and controversial play, but three points in almost every match.

I agree. But when you win the UCL and the title while playing amazing football, the expectations of the fans go up too. Also consider the siginings of Toure, Henry, Milito and Abidal and no big departments, and you'll see why most fans expected better. That's why the fans are complaining
I agree for 100% that some fans are just overreacting though. Ps they for instance want Rijkaard out for some wrong substitutions (his main downside), they usually blame him for losing. Or another example: Many fans complained about Rijkaard that he just wanted to be the nice guy, and not having the guts to sub stars. Now that he has even started to sub Ronaldinho (what coach would do that?) the fans are trying to find other ways. Time and time again. Why don't they just give Rijkaard and the players some more credit? And not everything is always the fault of Rijkaard, what some fans want to pretend. Not to make up excuses or anything, but i think it's partly down to bad luck, some matches just didn't go our way. Or take El Clasico, our best player Messi picked up an injury 2 weeks before that match, the player who scored a hattrick last season. Those things are decisive, but simply don't go our way (yet). We can only wait for better times, but like i said it's rediculous to blame Rijkaard for everything.

I also think that Madrid will start losing, but i don't see Barça improving either yet. Perhaps when Ronaldinho and Deco leave, which i really wouldn't mind.

That cup has no importance.

True, we can still win all 3 titles. But the UCL is always a big gamble (there's no standout team this season), the cup isn't important and in the league we're 7 points behind.

Bump Bump?
Things do turn fast in football Pennywise, but I think they've been going the wrong way for Barca.
We're now 14 points off the title, knocked out in the Semi's of the Copa and CL.
An amazing stat is that Barca won the title by 12 points 2 seasons ago, last season they lost by drawing on points and by head to head and this season they're 14 points off Madrid. That's 26 points difference we've dipped in 2 seasons, big changes need to be made this summer
