It's no secret that Ronaldinho's agent, Roberto de Assis, is already planning a move for his client, while Deco is also said to be eager to move on.

However, there could yet be a twist. The pair are said to be watching with interest as president Joan Laporta suffers an attempt on his presidency, which could change everything.

There is even talk that Sandro Rosell could return to Camp Nou in summer is Laporta is compelled to step down, and the two may be more amenable to remaining under his regime.

Even if Laporta remains, the two will stay if no suitable bid comes in.

For the time being, AC Milan are the most likely suitor to land the Brazilian international, while Deco is apparently still in with a shot of joining José Mourinho at Inter.

In the meantime, Barça are watching funds carefully as they are yet to attain any transfer income.

We Don’t Want Ronaldinho - Milan

Milan director Umberto Gandini has stated that the Rossoneri have no interest in signing Ronaldinho, but he says that they do like his club team-mate Samuel Eto’o.

The Diavoli are well known to be in the market for a top class attacker, and a couple of months or so ago it had looked almost certain that Ronaldinho would be ending up at San Siro.

However slowly but surely the chances of the move taking place seemed to lessen, with the transfer fee seeming to be the main sticking point.

Milan director Umberto Gandini has now confirmed that the club are no longer interested in the Brazilian, but he says that Samuel Eto’o is a target.

“Eto’o is part of this list of attackers that are priorities for us,” Gandini stated.

“Ronaldinho is not part of the first list.

“I can tell you that Barcelona are a very expensive shop.”

Gandini also added that the club’s star man, Kaka, was not for sale, amid rumours that Chelsea may attempt to launch a huge bid.

“Kaka is not for sale. Milan keep him,” he concluded.

Ronnie Itching To Join Big Phil

Ronaldinho is on track to become one of Luiz Felipe Scolari’s first Chelsea signings, after the player’s agent hinted the Barcelona star would welcome the switch…

According to The Sun, Scolari will contact the two-time FIFA World Player of the Year within the next few days to gauge his psychological and emotional state before proceeding with negotiations.

The 28-year-old endured a horror season at Camp Nou, making only 17 appearances in La Liga as he struggled with fitness, form and personal problems.

While the ex-Gremio playmaker has been universally flagged as a high-risk venture, Scolari – who coached Brazil to victory the 2002 World Cup – may be keen to reunite with the sublimely skilful player who was so crucial in the Selecao’s success in Japan and Korea.

Ronaldinho’s brother and agent, Roberto de Assis, said: “At the moment Ronaldinho is taking a complete break at home in Porte Alegre.

“There are options for next season and obviously he knows Scolari very well and they have enjoyed great success together.

“We’ll see what happens but my brother will be ready for next season.”

Competition

Assis has met with Chelsea in the past, as Blues owner Roman Abramovich has long targeted Ronaldinho as one of his dream signings.

But the west Londoners will face strong competition from Manchester City, whose owner Thaksin Shinawatra is equally desperate to land the Brazilian superstar and recently received the go ahead from new manager Mark Hughes.

Barca are willing sell and are asking around ₤20million for the former Paris Saint Germain man, who will demand wages in the vicinity of ₤120,000-per-week – figures that are unlikely to deter either of the cashed-up Premier League clubs.

the way I see it its: us or man. city

hopefully he doesn't through his football career lower than it is right now and stays with us.. going to manchester city is like suicide and I know manchester city are not that small team and they have money etc... its the kind of moves you do when you are too old and just want the money.
if he stays I beleive we can see some magic back to his feet, not saying he'll return to be the player he was or half that but I realy want him as a sub.

I don't want him at Man City either but I think he needs a change. He probably won't win any titles with City anytime soon so I'm hoping that Big Phil brings him to Chelsea as both Barca and Ronnie win in that scenario.

but it would be stupid by chelsea to pay for ronaldinho instead of, like, Robinho? who is likely to get released for maybe less, and he wouldn't be such a gamble like ronaldinho is.

I understand your point that he needs a change, but the change he got in barcelona now (the clear out plus the new managers and players...) would be much more positive on him than chelsea the atmosphere there (imo) is terribly bad for him. being around many cracks and big egos would turn him totally off imo.

Ronaldinho Should Join Me At Chelsea - Deco

Deco wants to play alongside Ronaldinho at Chelsea under Luiz Felipe Scolari and appealed to his Barça team-mate to join him by rejecting a move to Manchester City.

The Portuguese international believes that the 28-year-old should aim to continue playing at the highest level in Europe and return being the best in the world, El Mundo Deportivo reports.

Ronaldinho is said to have received offers from Manchester City, LA Galaxy and Chelsea, while AC Milan's interest has cooled, and Deco believes that only the Blues can offer him what he deserves.

"With the greatest respect to Manchester City, I would not like to see Ronaldinho go there and play for them," the midfielder said.

"I still consider Ronaldinho to be one of the best players in the world. He needs a huge team to express himself in, one that plays in the Champions League and aims to win it.

"It would be very good for him to go a really big club, a team with grand aspirations and that will make him feel like he did at Barça. He needs that as a person as much as a player."

Before stating that nothing had been finalised, Deco claimed that he would like to play alongside Ronaldinho again and hopes that the pair can sort out transfers to Stamford Bridge.

"I would like Ronnie to play with me for Chelsea," he continued.

"Chelsea and Barça are still negotiating and nothing has been sorted out. I know that they are talking and that things are going well, but there are other avenues open too, like a move to Inter."

Barcelona star Ronaldinho has indicated that his chances of staying at Camp Nou are very limited...

The two-time FIFA World Player of the Year participated in a charity match in Venezuela this weekend, scoring twice in his long-awaited return to the football field.

After the game, the Brazilian ace commented on his situation, and even though he did not rule out the possibility of staying at Barcelona, his speech was more of a goodbye one.

"Now I am thinking about working and returning to my level of play as soon as possible, it does not matter where," Ronaldinho said after the game.

"It was a beautiful story, everything that we conquered. The supporters will never forget it, just like I never will. Everywhere I go in Barcelona I am treated very heartily."

The 28-year-old is believed to have offers from Serie A side AC Milan and Premier League duo Manchester City and Chelsea.
