Maniche Poised For Porto Return?
Will be at Vicente Calderon tomorrow.
Eight new players have joined the 'workingclass' club in Madrid this summer, inc Maniches former teammates in Russia, Costinha and Seltaridis.
A.Madrid also tries to get Jose Antonio Reyes from Arsenal.
A.Madrid have also four defenders who all are on the national team for Spain. Maxi Rodriguez, Costinha, Reyes and Maniche and Torres as striker had been very good when they have a iron defence.

If Atletico sign Reyes they will have a great team!
Gonzalez-Maniche-Costinha-Reyes
Aguero-Torres
wonderful attacking options.
Still think they need a top class goalkeeper.

See what she does then. You will have basically turned the tables on her. Tried this a few times, always works.

Its Reyes who wants to Real Madrid. They are not that interested in him but I'll not be surprised if he joins the white side of Madrid.

Great team Atletico has built this year... I can see them on top of Valencia this year and they should make it to CL without doubt.

Maniche Poised For Porto Return?
Quote:
FC Porto are reportedly interested in resigning Atletico Madrid midfielder Maniche.
The Portuguese midfielder has returned to the Vicente Calderón following a six-month loan spell with Serie A champions Inter Milan.
However, Maniche is aware his opportunities under Javier Aguirre at Atletico Madrid will be be limited next term and he has reportedly requested a transfer to the club's board.
According to news daily ABOLA, the former Dynamo Moscow player was very close to completing a move to Porto earlier this week but his wages at Atletico seem to be an issue for the Dragons.
But Porto have not called off negotiations just yet and are ready to resume talks with the 30-year-old, who enjoyed great success at Estádio do Dragăo from 2002 to 2005.
Maniche is relishing the prospect of a new challenge to boost his chances of reclaiming a place in the national squad, having failed to be called up for Euro 2008.
The Dragons are expected to face competition for Maniche from Sporting, who are looking for midfield solutions in case they part with their biggest assets, Miguel Veloso and Joăo Moutinho.

I would love to have Maniche back at Porto. Atletico will have a lot of competition in the midfield

I wouldn't. He is old, expensive and injury prone these days, plus we have millions of midfielders already, we signed 3 this season. No point bringing in another one.
