how we managed to scrape a point out of a performance that wouldnt have looked out of place on a sunday league pitch, is beyond me...

yet again, fuck all width on the right, so the play gets compressed in the middle... ashley young yet again gets double marked and isnt as effective as he could be and we dont take advantage of the free space... yet again, piss poor movement from the strikers... yet again, fuck all support from the midfield...

overall, absolute fucking garbage... yet again...

carson - 5 - good save, tried to make up for it with the spill later on...
mellberg - 3 - didnt want to scupper his move to juve by getting stuck in...
laursen - 4 - hoofed the ball a lot..
davies - 5 - actually played ok apart from losing his man for their goal...
bouma - 5 - same old same old good defensively, rubbish going forward...
young - 7 - ran at players, looked dangerous and scored an undeserved equaliser...
reo coker - 2 - couldnt tackle, pass or do anything other than foul...
barry - 4 - clearly not fit...
petrov - 1 - pure garbage... fuck off...
agbonlahor - 2 - rubbish... again...
carew - 4 - only so much he can do with such crap around him....

harewood - 6 - came on and looked dangerous....

overall, it highlights that we need players in... not that any of us with more than half a fucking brain cell need that highlighting...

I've not seen today's game obviously, but "yet again" seems to be cropping up quite a lot in your summary. That seems pretty odd considering your last results have been a credible draw at Anfield, a convincing win v Reading, an admittedly poor performance against United but you took it to the wire, a win versus an improving Spurs, a win away at Wigan, and a great effort to draw against Chelsea.

You've lost one in 9, and that was in the cup against the best team in the league. The football may not be breathtaking but you play some very nice stuff considering O'Neill's usual style.

yet again relates to our performances of late..

whether we have managed to fluke a couple of decent results recently, is besides the point, we are playing shit.. not shit football, but just shit...

why i should be happy with a really shit performance because we are in a better position than recent years, il never understand...

and we are not in contention for champions league... we are a million miles away from that...

i am very happy with the overall running of the club and our progression, however, i am realistic and honest enough to say it how i see it....
