RANDY LERNER is so committed to Aston Villa he has a TATTOO of the club crest on his ankle.

Villa’s American billionaire owner unveiled the work of art during the team’s pre-season tour of the US.

The players were stunned to spot such a public and permanent declaration of faith in Villa.

But boss Martin O’Neill has not needed any convincing about Lerner’s ambitions.

Only West Ham duo Nigel Reo-Coker and Marlon Harewood have been signed so far.

But O’Neill insists the cash is there to add more signings — starting with £8million on West Brom defender Curtis Davies, 22.

O’Neill said: “Randy Lerner has not put a cap on anything. The reinforcements will be there.”
