ok, please stop with the insults...
as for the thread subject, well, it would be nice to see young at the villa...
i have rated the kid for a while now and would like to see him on the right with gabby moved up front or at the very least, being given a rest...
i think gabby can see this too...
however, i do not think young is 10 million worth...
and while we CAN afford that, we simply WONT be held to ransom over an excellent prospect that is far from the finished article...
only mugs who wanted to pay that sort of money are west ham, because they are desperate, and thier foghorm mouth chairman has been shouting on about how much money they have to spend, which means that by overpaying for players, they are setting themselves up to be "mugged", every time they go in for a player...
aston villa wont let that happen to us, because we are not run by idiots...
and i fully support the board in their actions...
quick question though to tal...
how much money have liverpool spent this january? or chelsea? or man utd?

Liverpool don't seem to have much of a budget at the moment. They cannot afford £10million for Young. They cannot afford to spend any mney at the moment, as with the current state with them not being able to afford a new stadium, but carrying on, without that Arab consortium, one bad season and they will do a Leeds, big style. I can't see Rafa spending over £5million, that is unless they get purchased before the end of the month.
