Villa plan Tudor swoop
Aston Villa are being touted as the likely destination for Juventus’ Igor Tudor. The defender has spent the first half of the season on loan with Siena, but with that spell now completed the 27-year-old is once again looking for a move away from Turin. Villa have struggled defensively this season, especially in the air and from set pieces, and Manager David O’Leary could see Tudor as the ideal signing. “It would not take a rocket scientist to see we need another central defender on loan as a number one priority,” confirmed the former Arsenal player. The Villans have been short at the back since the long-term injury to ex-Milan defender Martin Laursen that will keep him out for the rest of the season.

Igor suits English football down to a T. Every time he's linked with an English club, a move is never finalised - 'boro came closest, but their contract fell short of the mark.
Trust me, whoever gets this guy will be having their balls licked on MoTD when he totally bosses your half.
Think Arjen De Zeeuw, but stronger, more comfortable on the ball, better in the air and even more clinical - he's played up front for Lippi on the odd occasion!
