we have fcuk all left...

but IF this alleged money does actually exist, and its allegedly more like 11-13 million if the bellamy AND distin deals are to be believed as nothing more than smoke and mirror bids, then i would go for jagielka and dean ashton....

jagielka would cost about 3-4 mil and ashton could probably be bought for 5-7 mil... both are young and have experience and would definately improve both the squad and the first team in my opinion...

but personally, i think stubbs will come in on a free and we will spend fcuk all else this summer and the board will claim "at least we tried"....

again..

lying scumbag cnuts..

but i would have said with vassell/angel/moore and phillips you DONT need another striker.

what about a winger.

moore needs a loan and to not have to be used so much at this level... we are risking whittingham style burn out with him...

phillips is nearly 32 so isnt going to be able to play every game...

hopefully angel and vass will click this year and be injury free and we see the best out of both, but knowing villa over the years like i do, vass will probably break his foot again picking up the remote, luke will have to cover too much and burn out and ruin his confidence like happened to his brother and whittingham, and angel and phillips wont have any cover for when knackered or have a niggly injury and confidence will dip again like last year....

personally, id be happier if luke went out on loan to a championship side for the season and picked up some confidence/form and we brought in someone like ashton, who will be for the future alongside luke (we also have gabriel agbonlahor and shane paul waiting in the wings with huge potential)...

tbh, im more p!ssed off that we have yet again been lied to and have done our usual trick of fcuking around on big transfers to settle for cheapo versions whilst claiming we are competing... it happens every fcuking year and its sh!te..

and whilst i didnt believe any of it from the start when the claim of substantial funds available was made, it still fckuing annoys me that we are being blatantly lied to yet again and hopes are raised from certain camps of the villa fans simply for season ticket sales...

my club has settled for mediocrity yet again and its not fckuing good enough......

well, my prediction for something to be fcuked up took 11 days...

vass being sold, leaves us with 32 year old kevin phillips, underperforming juan pablo angel and a rookie in luke moore...

we are also minus 500k net spend....

the beattie money was a lie...

the substantial funds was a lie...

the club is a joke...

you've lost about 7 players that could be termed first team.
one more defensive minded player and one more attacking player coming in would be very handy methinks.
