What a fantastic servant Rice has been for Arsenal Football Club.

Arséne and Pat have formed a terrific partnership together, tactically sound on the sidelines, always sharing each others views and opinions even if it is something they don’t agree with.

His reign as assistant manager could end soon though, reports in the Arsenal camp suggest Rice’s wife is ill, how serious? at the time of writing I haven’t received enough information about the illness, but do understand that Pat Rice could step down this summer and possibly make way for current Portsmouth assistant Tony Adams. The former Gunners captain has been consistently linked with a role at the club this season and Rice’s possible departure could reignite that move.
