He's said in the past he wants to return to Spain at some point, Arsenal aren't doing well atm, there's plenty of speculation linkning Henry with a move to Barcelona....
it's the perfect time for these rumours to come up, I would be surprised if there wasn't some truth behind them (like with C. Ronaldo), but I think Cesc will stay a couple more years first & then leave.

If Cesc wasn't happy about Arsenal's performance he wouldn't have sign a new contract.

Bayern Target Van Persie
Quote:
Bayern target Van Persie
Bayern Munich are reportedly lining up Arsenal striker Robin van Persie and could make an £8million bid for the Dutchman.
The German giants are set to completely change their squad for next season after failing to qualify for the Champions League following a poor season in the Bundesliga.
They are on the lookout for a new frontman and, accoring to reports, have targeted Van Persie, who hit 13 goals for the Gunners last season before missing the second half of the campaign through injury.
Arsene Wenger is thought to be keen on keeping the striker, who joined Arsenal for just £2.75m from Feyenoord in 2004, but could be tempted by a bid in the region of £8milion.
Wenger is also said to be interested in Newcastle striker Michael Owen should he decide to leave St James' Park and if he lands the former Liverpool striker then Van Persie could make way for him.

Wouldn't want to see him go. When healthy he was one of our best players this season and only seems to be improving.

Van Persie would be a great signing, but 8m seems a bit too low.

See what she does then. You will have basically turned the tables on her. Tried this a few times, always works.

For me, I think he'll always be one of those players that gets injured alot and is inconsistent as hell (like Recoba at Inter).
I agree O_K. 8M is far too low.

You have to remember Arsenal are skint. Selling Cesc could allow Wenger to by some much neede new faces.

i think he has it in him to be a fantastic player, great technique and touch, decent finisher and is still young.
id bite arsenal's hand off if they offered him to my club for £8m

so would i, i dont think he is particularly injury prone, this was the metatarsal which can't really be helped...
and this season i think he was more important to arsenal than henry and his absence cost them more, largely because henry was just plain jaded, and he didnt have the energy or motivation to play when he was "fit" while RvP was out to prove himself.
