Song goes to Charlton on loan
Midfielder Alex Song has joined Premiership side Charlton Athletic on loan until the end of the season.
Song (19), who recently represented Cameroon at the Under-20 African Cup of Nations in Congo, joined the Club from Bastia initially on loan in the summer of 2005, but made his move permanent in July 2006.
Alex, who has made a total 15 first team appearances during his time at the Club, recently scored his first senior goal for Arsenal in the 6-3 Carling Cup victory over Liverpool at Anfield.
Most of Alex’s early appearances for the Club came in the Reserve League and he also featured in last season’s FA Youth Cup, scoring his first goal in an Arsenal shirt in that competition.
Alex has made six first team appearances this season, including being involved the first team squad on five occasions during this season’s UEFA Champions League campaign.
Do you think this is a smart move by Wengner?

Wenger Unsure Over Lehmann Future
Arsene Wenger has admitted that he is still unsure of whether Jens Lehmann will stay at Arsenal beyond this season as he continues to refuse to budge on offering senior players more than one year deals.
The 37-year-old will be out of contract in the summer, but may be tempted into accepting a longer deal elsewhere than Arsenal are prepared to offer.
"I had a little meeting with him. At the moment, we have to sit down again to decide about that [contract]," said Wenger.
"Ideally, I would like him to stay. But I do not know yet. You have to wait. He will not get more than one year.
"What can change is somebody can offer him three years.
"What we talk about is between him and me, but we have not really sat down yet and spoken about a contract.
"We spoke about how the year went, what I expect of him for the rest of the season and we will speak about a contract in a few weeks."

Arsenal Consider Henry Departure
Arsenal are for the first time considering the merits of selling Thierry Henry, according to a Sunday newspaper report.
It is claimed that the Frenchman may be allowed to leave the Gunners in the summer after the matter was discussed in a secret board meeting.
The reports come just over half-a-year since Henry was heavily persuaded into staying in North London when being aggressively targeted by Barcelona. The striker decided to stay put soon after finishing on the losing side in the Champions League final against the Spanish outfit.
However, this season there has been suggestions of a falling out with Arsene Wenger over his enforced break from the first team, but nonetheless he remains a central part of Arsenal's team and a player that could not be replaced.
It may be deemed that this summer will be the last opportunity to majorly cash in on their biggest asset and a £25m move would be too good to turn down. If these reports are true it would seem that a move to Barcelona or Real Madrid would be the most viable options.

Barca already made a big offer on him, but he didn't leave, it was his personal decision.
